Our Predictions for 2010

Inevitably, 2010 will be dominated by the election. The incumbent government will be keen to avoid any bad news on the economic front before we go to the polls and a new government will certainly not want to carry the can for what went before – expect Q3 to be interesting.

It’s interesting to view marketing conditions in the context of our experience and our growth.  Whilst work we have conducted with the insolvency profession has been fairly static, the degree of refinancing work undertaken with our banking clients has risen sharply. That is due in part to the banks looking to address issues earlier and also our own banking contact base is now far bigger than it was a year ago.

The highlight of our year was undoubtedly winning Business Rescue Funder of the Year at the Insolvency & Rescue Awards. There is no greater accolade than being judged by the industry you serve and we are very keen to make sure that 2010 will put us in a strong position to build on our strengths and retain the award.

For us, 2010 will be about growth. For the first time we will be marketing ourselves directly to the SME sector to supplement the work undertaken from our referrer base. We are also looking to broaden our offering by forming ventures with businesses where we have synergies.
